Home Energy Audits

March 20, 2017 by Brad Trivers Leave a Comment

Did you know that the PEI government will pay half the cost of a home energy audit for your home?  It costs $300 and they will pay $150.  Just contact HouseMaster Inspection Services to book your home evaluation.  Find out all the details on the PEI government website by clicking here.

As well there is a Home Energy Low-income Program (HELP) if you have a household income of $35,000 or less.  The government will send a tradesperson to take actions like caulking, weather-stripping, sealing gaskets, etc.  HELP may also include installing a programmable thermostat,  low-flow showerheads, free furnace cleaning, and energy efficient light bulbs.
