The PEI legislature is where I do my “official” work as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Prince Edward Island. This means “sitting” in the “House” where motions, bills, petitions, questions, and other information is introduced, debated and voted on. It also means sitting on standing committees, and attending committee meetings where information is gathered and debated and direction is given to the legislature. Here is a list of links to key information on the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island website. Note that the public is invited to attend sittings of the legislature, and most committee meetings.
