A.C.E. for PEI Government

March 18, 2015 by Brad Trivers Leave a Comment

When you think Progressive Conservative in 2015, A.C.E. is the key to our platform:

Accountability
Community
Economy

And bridging all of them is the essential key of MLA Communication.

Here are some of my thoughts on what A.C.E. means to me as the PC Candidate in District 18 Rustico-Emerald.

Accountability

Our elected representative’s need to be held responsible for decisions made, and part of this is sharing information so that we can hold them accountable – i.e. being transparent by publishing information for all to see. No more secrets. Get rid of the “us vs. them” mentality that has developed where we don’t even trust our own government.

Community

We need to make communities our priority – and reflect this in how money is spent. It’s not about one city.  It’s not about one party. It’s not about patronage. It’s about helping all Islanders live the best life they can day-to-day. It’s about focusing on local and Island-owned businesses. It’s about working together – a good idea is a good idea, regardless of what political stripe came up with it.

Economy

Stop wasting taxpayer dollars. Prioritize spending on what matters – Health Care, Education, Roads, Jobs and sustaining our Environment. Stop gambling with taxpayer dollars and put them into real needs with immediate payback.
