On March 7, 2024 I rose to second Motion 26 – Pharmacy Plus. I spoke about how community pharmacies are key in health delivery, thanked our pharmacists for the great work they do, and how important the Pharmacy Plus program is to helping people who otherwise would be emergency rooms and walk-in clinics. I also highlighted how community pharmacies can be the base for continued innovation – offering access to online services like Maple and expanded telemedicine which should include remote examinations in the future. I also spoke about how community pharmacies will play a key role in Patient Medical Homes.
