Recently the provincial government has proposed a new type of roundabout for the Stanley Bridge intersection to replace the three-way stop there. Local residents have concerns with cost and impact to adjacent local businesses.
In my opinion the key problem is with the communication process. When projects like this are considered by the PEI Provincial government, local residents should be informed of options and involved in the decision making process.
