Where is PEI District 18?

August 2, 2011 by Brad Trivers Leave a Comment

For PEI District 18 Rustico – Emerald you might be wondering – does it include Cavendish?  South Rustico?  New London?  Breadalbane?  The answer to all three is YES.  In places like Wheatley River the answer is “mostly” – depending on what side of the road you live.

Just to clear up any confusion about what the boundaries of District 18 Rustico – Emerald I thought I’d post the description and map from the Elections PEI website.

Where do I Vote in District 18 Rustico – Emerald?

When I worked at the polls in the federal election people knew what riding they lived in but it was terribly confusing for people to know where to go to vote – hopefully I can do my part to help clarify this for the provincial election – although these haven’t changed.

You can see on the map above that District 18 is broken down into 11 Polling Divisions (No. 1 – No. 11).  Each one of these polling divisions is assigned to a polling station that is listed below.  Also you can go and vote in the District 18 Rustico – Emerald Advance Poll – anyone can do this – you don’t have to wait until election day.

The Advance Poll for all Polling Divisions is at the same place:

Hunter River Lions Club Hall
4615 Rte 13
Rennies Road, PE

You can click on the link for a Polling Division to go to the Elections PEI site to see more info like a detailed map for each.
