Just spoke with Chris Jordan at the PEI Dept of Agriculture – he’s the person responsible for bees on PEI. We do need more bees on PEI because of our blueberry production, and the blueberry processors have their own beekeeping operations that send hives out to producer fields. Remove HST on healthy food

HST is charged on many foods that are part of a healthy diet, and it should be removed.  Here are some examples: fruit juice (e.g. cranberry) British scones (pack of 4) – less than package of 6 then HST – discriminates against households that need smaller amounts
